Early Yosemite - Coyotes, Snowshoeing, and Ravens

We arrived after dark and had to muck about in the and drenched, icy, muddy goodness that is Curry Village. The "heated" tent cabin provided little in the way of actual heat. You can only keep a canvas-sided, drafty, well-vented tent cabin so warm. Thankfully, we brought goose down sleeping bags that kept us toasty.

Saturday was all about the snowshoeing and coyote tracks!

'Twas indeed a coyote-ful weekend. We saw two coyotes on the way in to the valley, and several tracks on our snowshoeing adventure.

We even got to break trail in several places:

Saturday's walking about included sighting a Raven:

Saturday night and Sunday (all day) we had rain, rain, and more rain. The mist and fog made for a beautiful and amazing Yosemite as we drove around the valley:

One last stop to take in the Merced river.

And more Ravens!

Wonderfully amazing weekend in Yosemite.
